Keys Criteria-4)Fitness for Purpose
-Constructed from high-grade stainless steel giving excellent protection against corrosion, including marine offshore applications
-Large castor wheels to facilitate mobility in normal site conditions
5)Safety-CE marked in compliance with European Safety Directives
-Safe voltages employed-voltage to earth from any single output socket is 32.5V a.c
Key Criteria-Safety
-Automatic protection against transformer coil becoming over heated, by inclusion of thermostats in the core windings
-Primary over-current protection provided by a three-phase circuit breaker
-Low voltage systems and insulated cable connections, eliminate risk of electrical shock to welders working on electrically preheat weld joints.
Spare Advantage 3 Programmer/Controller
Replacement "Advantage 3" linkable, programmer/controller. Supersedes the "Advantage 2" linkable, programmer/controller. Provide user with greater versatility & flexibility. Each "Advantage 3"output communicates with other "Advantage 3" controllers, controlling zones on the same heat treatment & limiting the differential between separate control zones within a single heat treatment.
Advantage 3 Programmer/Controller
When a job requires multiple heat treatment programs, user benefits achieved by:
-Reducing the number of standard 6 channel programmers normally required to heat treat work pieces with different heat treatment cycles
-Eliminating the need for multiple shift working to carry out several separate heat treatment processes for each heat treatment specification.
Advantage3-Heat Treatment Upgrade Kit
Contains necessary parts &instructions required to upgrade any make /model heat treatment unit to provide additional functionality, user benifits & cost savings provided by "Advantage 3" linkable programmer/controller.
Stork reference:12300
Spare Advantage 2 Programmer/Controller
Replacement "Advantage 2" linkable, programmer/controller. Supersede by the improved "Advantage 3" linkable, programmer/ controller though stocks of the "Advantage 2" will be held by STE & remain available until end of 2009.

Thermocouple wire
Type K nickel chrome/nickel aluminium thermocouple wire, insulated with high temperature glass braid. Recommended maximum temperature 800C. It used to convert the thermal energy at hot junction of the thermocouple to an electrical mV signal which can then be used by temperature control & recording instruments to accurately record & control the temperature of item being heat treated.
Thermocouple wire-Type K
The thermocouple wire is attached directlt to the work piece using the "thermocouple attachment unit " Stock reference:41756(110V unit)/ 41757(230V unit). Conforms to : BS EN 60584-1:1996 part 4, BS EN 60584-2:1993 class 1 & ANSI-MC 96
High Temperature Putty
A small portion of the soft putty is fixed over the hot junction of the thermocouple, which attached to the item being heat-treated. Once the putty dries, after 20 minutes, it hardens to protect the hot junction & help avoid possible short circuit of thermocouple wires which would result in temperature control & recording errors.
Thermocouple Connectors
2 types of thermocouple plugs:
-516-111-->used with compensating cable
-516-125-->"Quick connection"plugs are ideally use with thermocouple wire regular connections are required, can attached to thermocouple wire in seconds & reduces waste caused by the loss of terminal covers.
